ECBL: North Lenoir defeats Spring Creek

La GRANGE -- North Lenoir exploded for seven first-inning runs and cruised past Spring Creek, 8-3, in an Eastern Carolina Baseball League contest.
Jensen Barwick paced the Gators' offense with two hits and two RBI.
Christian Yarborough started on the mound for SC. Casey Whitfield worked five-plus innings and allowed one run on four hits. He retired three NL batters on strikeouts.
Spring Creek (7-5 overall) entertains North Duplin on Monday. First pitch is 6 p.m.
