Walnut Creek Ladies Golf news

Penny Ritt secured low gross during weekly play on the Walnut Creek Country Club links. Maureen Prys and Evelyn Rose captured low net and low putts, respectively.
WCCC golfers competed in the N.C. Ladies Golf Association two-day finals contested at Birchwood CC in Nashville. Hiromi Sueki emerged as the first gross winner in first flight play. Faye Franklin was the low put winner in first flight.
Three WCCC golfers -- Franklin, Betty Holloway and Sueki -- were recognized for perfect attendance in Eastern League tournament play.
Holloway secured low net during weekly play ending May 3. Franklin won low putts. Sueki claimed low gross.
