Voyager Academy triumphed on five of six singles courts and handed Rosewood a season-ending, 5-1 loss in second-round play of the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 1-A dual-team playoffs.
Collin Pendegraph claimed the Eagles' lone point and finished unbeaten in singles play this season.
RHS head coach Daniel Baynes said Marc Lewis and Lucas Parrish played "close matches, but fell just short of pulling out victories."
The Eagles' tandem of Parrish-Jordan Price returns to action Friday in the NCHSAA 1-A state championships.
