UMO sophomore Adams competing in NCAA D2 South/Southeast Regional

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- University of Mount Olive sophomore Nick Adams is 55th overall among 108 individual golfers after opening-round play of the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional on Monday afternoon.
Adams posted an 18-hole round of 76 on the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort. He started on the back nine and parred No. 10. The Rosewood grad moved to even par with a birdie on No. 15, but started the front nine at 2-over-38.
He parred the final two holes to complete his round.
Adams teed off at 8:30 this morning.
