Rosewood baseball throttles Neuse Charter

Noah Grantham and Hayden Amodeo combined for a one-hitter during Rosewood's 21-2 shellacking of Carolina 1-A Conference foe Neuse Charter on Monday evening.
Grantham gave up an earned run in four innings and logged six strikeouts. Amodeo, who has signed with Rockingham Community College, hurled one inning of one-strikeout relief.
Amodeo, Luke Teague, Stalen Massengill and Max White cranked out two hits apiece for the Eagles.
Rosewood concludes regular-season play Thursday at archrival Princeton.
