CBA's Holt sets PR in 4-team track meet

GREENVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock's Trevor Holt recorded a personal-best mark in the shot put of 49 feet even, and won the discus event during a four-team Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet contested at J.H. Rose on Wednesday afternoon.
Holt and Elijah Bryant claimed the top two spots in the discus.
Aycock's 4x8 relay -- John Parrish, Cameron Sims, David McIver and Deshawn Owens -- turned in a meet-winning time of 8 minutes, 53 seconds. The quartet took first place in its seventh straight meet.
Joseph Mooneyham claimed the two-mile (3,200-meter) run in 10:48. Sophomore Kamarion Graham captured first in the 200-meter dash in 22.76 seconds.
