North Duplin baseball dominates Neuse Charter

CALYPSO -- North Duplin cranked out 13 hits and cruised past Carolina 1-A Conference foe Neuse Charter, 19-5, in mercy-rule fashion on Thursday afternoon.
DJ Morrisey, Dylan Jones and Kaleb Brock pounded out two hits apiece for the Rebels. Colby Bass, Hunter Thurston, Chase King, Copeland Brickhouse, Dustin Carter, Caleb Cashwell and Ricky Cameron each had one hit.
Morrisey stole two bases.
Brickhouse earned the pitching win.
