* Girls' soccer: Wayne Country Day 5, Community Christian 0 -- Langley Barnes provided a hat trick and recorded an assist during the Chargers' non-conference shutout win Thursday afternoon. Kathryn Hamilton posted one goal and assisted on a Barnes strike. Hannah Neal converted a penalty kick after Hayden Nielsen drew a foul inside the 18-yard box. Wayne Country Day (4-0-1 overall) entertains Parrott Academy on April 4.

Middle schools

* Girls' soccer: Dillard 1, Rosewood 0 -- Shayla Green scored the Tigers' lone goal in its final pre-spring break game Thursday afternoon. Aaliyah Carroll recorded the assist. Goalkeeper Octavia Burns earned the shutout between the pipes. Dillard (4-2-1 overall) entertains Norwayne on April 5.

* Girls' soccer: Norwayne 8, Brogden 0 -- Annabelle Waters recorded a hat trick (three goals) and assisted on another goal for the Cobras on Thursday afternoon. Kayla Spier provided two goals and one assist. Brianna Casey had one goal and one assist. Colleen Jones contributed one goal and two assists. Brylee Sauls knocked in one goal. Tanner Griffin and Emma Maurera each had one assist. Keeper Taylor Smith registered three saves. Norwayne (6-0-0 overall) is the guest of Dillard on April 5.
