Chargers endure shutout loss on soccer pitch

Once-beaten Neuse Christian Academy punched in two first-half goals and shut down Wayne Country Day, 3-0, in non-conference play Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions (9-1-0 overall) recorded their seventh shutout of the season and have allowed just five goals in 800 minutes of play.
The Chargers fell to 2-4-0 overall and return to action March 31 at Kerr-Vance Academy.
