C.B. Aycock's Graham qualifies for east 3A track regional

WINTERVILLE -- C.B. Aycock's Kamarion Graham qualified for the eastern 3-A regionals with a time of 11.09 seconds in the 100-meter dash contested during a three-team Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet at South Central on Wednesday afternoon.
Trevor Holt seized first in the shot put (44 feet, 11 inches) and discus (121 feet, 6 inches).
The Golden Falcons' 3,200 relay of Deshawn Owens, Cameron Sims, David McIver and John Parrish crossed the line first in 8 minutes, 55 seconds. Joseph Mooneyham, Owens and Sims finished first, second and third -- respectively -- in the 1,600 run. Mooneyham's first-place time was 4:59.
Mooneyham won the 3,200 in 10:48.
South Central captured the team portion with 85 points, followed by Aycock (55) and New Bern (35).
