CBA girls fall at New Bern

NEW BERN -- Charles B. Aycock continued its downward spiral with a 57-45 loss to New Bern on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene Friday evening.
Mookie Powell paced the Golden Falcons' offense with 11 points. Destiney Washington and Taylor Daniels each chipped in eight points. Hannah Vinson tallied six points.
Lexie Edmundson and Connor Vinson each logged five points.
CBA shot 70 percent (7 of 10) from the free throw line.
