Morrisey leads N. Duplin boys past Princeton

PRINCETON -- Dexter Morrisey knocked down 22 points as North Duplin turned back Princeton, 58-46, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Wednesday evening.
JP Payton contributed 11 points, while Schmid Romeus scored seven. Travaye Darden and Luke Britt chipped in six points apiece.
Adrian Whack emerged as the Bulldogs' top scorer with 10 points. Matt Daughtry supplied nine points. Demarcus Ellis, Will Futrell, Austin Sullivan and Gray McCoy chipped in six points apiece.
North Duplin (3-7 overall, 1-3 CC) entertains Rosewood on Friday, while Princeton (0-14, 0-4) visits Spring Creek.
