Bulldogs' offense comes alive after 1st quarter

PRINCETON -- Princeton outscored North Duplin 27-14 over the final three quarters and claimed a 41-22 victory on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene Wednesday evening.
Kortney Edwards supplied eight points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Bulldogs. Chelsea Hawley collected six points and dished out eight assists. Maddie Adkins delivered a seven-point performance.
Jordan Bennett led all scorers with nine points.
Daja Aycock and Shaily McCarty each scored seven points for the Rebels, who dropped to 1-9 heading into Friday's home game with Rosewood. Rylee Pate added five points.
Princeton (5-7 overall, 1-3 CC) is the guest of Spring Creek on Friday.
