Cougars defeat Bulldogs on Carolina 1-A hoops scene

SMITHFIELD -- Earl Gibson Jr. emerged as Princeton's top offensive scorer with 14 points in an 85-50 loss to Carolina 1-A Conference foe Neuse Christian on Thursday evening.
Grey McCoy and Austin Sullivan scored eight points apiece. Matt Daughtry contributed five.
The Bulldogs (0-8 overall) return home Monday to play Jones Senior on day one of the Princeton Holiday Tournament. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m.
