Wayne Country Day will wait an extra two days to launch defense of its N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association Class 1-A dual-team championship.
Rain postponed the first-round match.
The top-seeded and once-beaten Chargers will entertain University Christian on Thursday. First serve is 2 p.m. on the Wayne Community College courts.
It's the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
