NCHSAA announces times, sites for football state championships

CHAPEL HILL -- Interim N.C. High School Athletic Association commissioner Que Tucker the game times for the eight NCHSAA football championship games for the 2015 season on Monday.
Eight state champions will be determined at three sites -- Kenan Stadium (UNC), Carter-Finley Stadium (Raleigh) and BB&T Field (Winston-Salem).
Kenan returns to the rotation after a one-year absence. The facility will play host to two games -- one on Friday and one on Saturday afternoon. The 3-A final is 7:35 p.m. on Friday and the 3-AA title game is slated for 12:05 p.m. kickoff.
The 4-AA championship is 12:05 at Carter-Finley, followed by the 2-A final at 4:05 p.m. and the 2-AA championship at 8:05 p.m.
The 1-A and 1-AA games, along with the 4-A title clash, will be contested at BB&T Field.
