ECC 2A soccer: Goldsboro cruises past Ayden-Grifton

LITTLEFIELD -- Ruben Quiroz delivered a hat trick (three goals) as Goldsboro upended Ayden-Grifton, 4-1, on the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference scene Monday evening.
Aaron Podbielski contributed one goal.
Aaron Seate provided one assist.
Goldsboro goalie Chandler Patrick recorded five saves.
The Cougars (10-9-0 overall, 6-3-0 ECC) conclude regular-season play at home Wednesday against Greene Central.
