WARSAW -- James Kenan clinched a share of the Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season championship with a 7-0 shutout over North Duplin on Tuesday.
The Tigers led 4-0 at halftime.
"James Kenan outplayed us from the start, we were not mentally prepared for the game," ND head coach James Foster said. "On the field we made terrible passes and defensively we did not pressure Kenan. They just dictated the game."
Keeper Luis Martinez had 13 saves for the Rebels.
North Duplin (10-7-1 overall, 6-6-1 CC) plays host to Rosewood on Monday in the regular-season finale for both teams.
