Rampants charge past Aycock in 2nd half

PIKEVILLE -- League-leading J.H. Rose tallied three goals within a five-minute stretch in the second half and turned back Charles B. Aycock, 3-2, in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play Monday evening.
The Rampants scored in the 48th, 49th and 53rd minutes after trailing 1-0 at halftime.
Senior Jacob Norris put the Golden Falcons on the board off of an assist from Dallen Edwards. After the visitors' three-goal explosion, Leo Carcamo closed the gap to 3-2 with an unassisted goal.
Golden Falcons goalie Skylar Lander recorded six saves.
C.B. Aycock (13-3-2 overall, 5-2-1 ECC) is the guest of South Central today.
