Chargers net dominating win over Freedom Christian

Wayne Country Day lost just two games in nine contested matches during its 9-0 thrashing of Freedom Christian on the Wayne Community College courts Tuesday afternoon.
The teams agreed to play pro-set (8-game) matches.
Gianna Democko, Ally Willman, Eliza Eagles, Langley Barnes, Margaux Pope and Aimee Barnes each claimed a singles point. Democko-Pope, Eagles-Willman and L. Barnes-A. Barnes completed the sweep in doubles action.
The Chargers (11-1 overall) extended their win streak to seven matches, and shut out an opponent for the seventh time this season.
WCDS plays host to nemesis Greenfield on Thursday.
