Hawks upend ECC archrival in straight sets

North Lenoir seized early command of the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference lead with a 25-23, 25-20, 25-15 conquest of archrival South Lenoir on Thursday evening.
Paige Sports paced the Hawks' offense with 13 kills. Laura Haerer and Mya Parks delivered 10 kills apiece. Allyson Heath handed out 30 assists.
The Hawks (15-0 overall) finished first-half ECC play at 5-0.
