Gators fall at Wake Christian

RALEIGH -- Senior linebacker Malik Sutton turned in a 12-tackle performance during Spring Creek's 26-0, non-conference loss to Wake Christian on Friday evening.
Sutton also forced a fumble.
Jessie Casper logged 10 tackles, forced a fumble and collected a quarterback sack. Najee Young and Cole Jacobs posted six tackles apiece.
Nick Strickland recorded five stops and picked off a pass.
Offensively, Young paced the Gators' ground game with 41 yards. Casper accounted for 48 total yards of offense. Jamerion Dawson hauled in three receptions for 31 yards.
After a season-opening, four-game road swing Spring Creek (2-2 overall) returns home to face Chocowinity Southside next Friday. Kickoff is 7 at "The Swamp."
