WCDS netters wipe out Lawrence Academy

Wayne Country Day dropped just 10 games overall in nine contested matches and rolled past Lawrence Academy, 9-0, on the Wayne Community College courts Tuesday afternoon.
Jennifer Potts, Ally Willman, Eliza Eagles, Margaux Pope, Langley Barnes and Aimee Barnes each prevailed in straight-set fashion. Potts and Willman, the top two seeds, did not lose a game.
Potts-Willman, Eagles-Pope and Barnes-Hannah Fessler completed the sweep in doubles.
The Chargers (3-0 overall) entertain Oakwood on Thursday.
