CAMERON -- Union Pines scored four first-half goals and upended Charles B. Aycock 5-0 in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 3-A state playoffs on Wednesday.
Aycock played better in the second half, giving up just one goal, but it was all for naught as they couldn't get on the board.
The Golden Falcons concluded the year 4-13-0.
