Harkay's game-winning goal stops Hobbton

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Madison Harkay notched the game-winning goal with four minutes left in regulation, and Spring Creek escaped Hobbton, 3-2, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Monday.
Harkay's goal completed her hat trick that included two first-half goals. Jordan Lane assisted Harkay on her game-winning mark. Rheanna Reid also added an assist.
Hobbton tied the game at 2-2 before Harkay's decisive shot.
The Gators (6-1-0 overall, 4-1-0 CC) visit North Duplin today.
