Defending east champ Riverside Martin beats Princeton girls

WILLIAMSTON -- Defending eastern champion Riverside handed Princeton a season-ending 70-24 defeat in the NCHSAA 1-A playoffs Friday evening.
Charley Cox paced the Bulldogs' offense with eight points. Maddie Adkins and Emily Ricks provided five points apiece.
Kayla Jones led Riverside with 21 points.
Princeton concluded the year 9-14 overall.
