* Boys' basketball: Wayne Country Day 61, Northwood Temple 40 -- DJ Waters logged a game-high 27 points and PJ Hill contributed 17 during the Chargers' non-conference win Monday evening. Jack Talton supplied seven points.
* Boys' basketball: Greene Central 45, C.B. Aycock 32 -- Marquez Farmer paced the Golden Falcons with 10 points, while Tayquan Hampton chipped nine points.
Middle schools
* Girls' basketball: Greenfield 20, Wayne Christian 18 -- Abi Harrelson and Madison Wells scored six points apiece for Wayne Christian. The Eagles (2-2 overall) travel to Wilson Christian today.
