GC boys turn back Golden Falcons

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central outscored Charles B. Aycock by eight points in the middle two periods and pulled away for a 49-37, non-conference win Thursday evening.
Jarde Spruill led the Golden Falcons' offense with 11 points. Ian Best contributed eight points, while Bryce Jordan chipped in seven.
Aycock shot 9 of 17 from the free throw line.
The Golden Falcons (0-2 overall) travel to Smithfield-Selma today.
