* Southern Wayne 14, Eastern Wayne 12 -- Southern Wayne converted two extra points that made the difference in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference win Thursday evening in Dudley.
Aryc Crisman and Eron Ermillis each scored a rushing touchdowns for the Saints. Zeke Best completed 10 of 15 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns for the Warriors. Juwan Holmes caught six passes for 123 yards and caught both scores from Best.
Willie Smith picked off a pass and Tyshaun Roberts had 10 tackles.
* Greene Central 20, Goldsboro 14 -- Willie Edwards rushed for two touchdowns, and the Rams claimed their second straight Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference championship. Javon Edwards added one touchdown.
GC finished the year 7-2 overall and 5-0 in ECC play.
