Rams seize ECC 2A soccer title at Cougars' expense

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central clinched the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference regular-season championship with 4-0 victory over Goldsboro.
The Cougars attempted seven shots, including three on frame.
Senior keeper Luke McAlduff recorded 19 saves during 74 minutes in goal, while fellow senior Jamal Taylor posted two saves in the final six minutes.
Elvis Padilla had the hat trick (three goals) for the Rams.
