* RALEIGH -- Trinity of Raleigh punched in three first-half goals and handed Wayne Christian a 6-2 loss in the Carolina Christian 1-A Conference regular-season finale for both teams Friday afternoon.
Blake Floars and Austin Howell each scored a goal for the Eagles, who finished 4-3 against CCC opposition this season. Jaxon Anderson provided one assist.
Wayne Christian returns home Tuesday to face Neuse Christian in opening-round play of the CCC tournament.
