BURLINGTON -- Wayne Country Day got better as the match went on to defeat a scrappy Burlington School team 25-15, 25-19, 25-9 on Thursday.
Sarah Crooks led the Chargers with six kills, while Olivia Dively and Tiffany Larsen had five each.
Rachel Uzzell dished out 24 assists.
"After settling the team down before the last set, we got back to our fundamental game and really took control," WCDS coach Steven Mau said. "The third set was very indicative of how we've been playing most of the season."
