Wayne Christian takes 5-set thriller from Antioch Christian

Wayne Christian snatched victory from the jaws of defeat by storming back after dropping the first two sets to win 13-25, 16-25, 25-15, 25-17, 15-10 against Antioch Christian on Thursday evening.
Sarah Sawyer led the way for the Eagles with 14 kills and six aces. Mercy Wright stuffed the stat sheet herself with 13 kills, four aces and a block.
Emily Wells handed out 38 assists and Reagan Taylor had a team-high 23 digs.
The Eagles are 4-8 on the season and play today at Cresset Christian at 5 p.m.
