Chapin has goal, 2 assists in Rosewood's home-opening win

Rosewood scored four second-half goals during its 5-1, non-conference win over North Lenoir at Branch Pope Field on Monday evening.
Ethan Chapin led the Eagles with a goal and two assists. Stalen Massengill chipped in a goal and an assist, while Hayden Amodeo scored a goal.
Daniel Aburto converted a penalty kick to conclude Rosewood's second-half onslaught.
Mike Bednarz scored for North Lenoir, which also had an own goal.
Jacob Baird had six saves in goal.
Rosewood (1-1-0 overall) travels to Goldsboro today, while the Hawks (1-3-0) entertain Farmville Central.
