Rosewood junior Lindsey Burton earned medalist honors with a nine-hole round of 44 on the Lane Tree Golf Club links Tuesday afternoon.
Charles B. Aycock freshman Abby Sauls carded a 47, followed by the Eagles' Alana Pipkin with a 53. Anna Williams and Isabelle Boulanger fired scores of 59 and 61, respectively, for the Golden Falcons.
"(Abby) was nervous to start with and played solid golf the rest of the way," CBA head coach Roger Rhodes said. "We had some highlights. I think we're going to be OK."
Aycock entertains Rocky Mount on Thursday.
