ECBL: North Duplin edges Spring Creek

SEVEN SPRINGS -- North Duplin scratched across the go-ahead run in the seventh inning and stole a 2-1 victory from Spring Creek at "The Swamp" on Tuesday evening.
The Gators' Sawyer Smith threw a one-hit gem that included 10 strikeouts. The Rebels plated a pair of unearned runs.
Levi Miller, Smith, Matthew Dupuy and Josh Lebron had one hit each for Spring Creek, which finished the year 8-11 overall.
