ECBL: Spring Creek's Miller delivers game-winning hit

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Levi Miller drove in Jensen Barwick with a two-out, walk-off base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning and Spring Creek defeated East Duplin, 4-3, in Eastern Carolina Baseball League play Monday evening.
Miller and Landon Smothers had two hits apiece for the Gators. Sawyer Smith and Allen Coor each provided an RBI hit.
Spring Creek overcame seven errors and erased a three-run deficit.
Will Rouse started on the mound and gave up three unearned runs. Chad Spurgeon provided three innings of no-hit, two-strikeout relief.
The Gators (8-10 overall) entertain North Duplin today at 6 p.m.
