ECBL: CBA Blue rallies, defeats South Lenoir

DEEP RUN -- Charles B. Aycock Blue overcame a six-run first-inning deficit to beat South Lenoir 11-6 in Eastern Carolina Baseball League play Monday evening.
Kyle Davis threw four scorless innings of relief to earn the win on the mound. Trent Herndon and Bobby Hampton combined with Davis to hold South Lenoir scoreless in relief.
Herndon connected on a three-RBI double and Hampton drove in a run with a double of his own. Jacob Sanford had two hits with an RBI and Landon Casey drove in a run on a base knock.
CBA Blue (9-2 overall) entertains Wayne Christian for a doubleheader on Wednesday. First pitch is 5 p.m. at Charles Davis Field.
