Matthews triples twice in CBA White victory over Spring Creek

Chandler Matthews had two triples and C.B. Aycock White defeated Spring Creek 9-3 Wednesday evening in Eastern Carolina Baseball League action.
Jake Flowers had two hits for CBA White. Trey Jordan, Bradley Pate and Joey Hampton each had a hit apiece.
Sawyer Smith led Spring Creek with two hits. He also endured the loss on the mound.
Blake Gipson got the win on the mound going three innings and striking out two. Ryan Kearney and Matthews pitched in relief.
CBA White takes on Bethel on Monday. Spring Creek (2-5 overall) will play North Lenoir Green.
