Kinston doubles up ECC 2A rival Greene Central

KINSTON -- Kinston pushed across four runs in the fifth and sixth innings, and turned back Greene Central, 4-2, in an Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference affair Friday afternoon.
Kevin Ormond (RBI) and Justin Lee (RBI) led the Rams' offense with two hits apiece. Bailey Ormond, Bryce Norman, Austin Batchelor, James Head and Will Creech each had one hit.
Kevin Ormond endured the pitching defeat.
Greene Central faces North Lenoir on Monday.
