Chargers roll past Goldsboro in ECC 2A baseball

LITTLEFIELD -- Goldsboro produced just two hits in a 17-1, mercy-rule loss to Ayden-Grifton in Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play Friday afternoon.
Sterling Dodson and Zach Falconer (RBI) each had one hit for the Cougars. Damon Pate had a stolen base.
Dodson endured the pitching defeat.
Goldsboro (2-13 overall, 0-6 ECC) faces North Lenoir on Tuesday.
