Velasquez leads Bulldogs on soccer pitch

Princeton capped its stretch of three games in three days with its best performance of the week -- a 9-0 mercy-rule shellacking of Carolina 1-A conference foe Neuse Charter.
Kassandra Velasquez had four goals in and three assists in the 40-minute affair. Jessica Brush scored twice and had three helpers for the Bulldogs. Emily Woodward, Jenna Woodard and Chelsea Hawley each had a goal apiece to round out the goals. Alexis Juarez tallied two assists.
Princeton (11-2-0 overall, 9-0-0 CC) plays host to Spring Creek on Tuesday.
