Quinn-Solomon cap EW victory in boys' tennis

Eastern Wayne earned the match-clinching point in doubles and slipped past New Bern, 5-4, in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference match Friday afternoon.
The Warriors' tandem of Ethan Quinn-Le Solomon triumphed in doubles. Quinn, Solomon, Sam Biggs and Gray Sasser each prevailed in singles.
Eastern Wayne (1-1 overall, 1-1 ECC) entertains Rocky Mount on Tuesday. First serve is 3:30 p.m.
