UMO's Loennechen ties for 13th overall

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The University of Mount Olive sophomore Julie Loennechen carded a two-day score of 155 and shared 13th place overall after completion of the World Golf Invitational.
The Trojans placed 13th in the team competition.
Loennechen fired a 79 on Monday. Teammates Emy Ohling (172) and Lovisa Tillstrom (172) tied for 63rd. Stefany King rounded UMO's team score with a 176, which was good enough for 74th.
Anne Barboteau (187) and Sarah Baniszewski (198) also participated in the 17-team, 93-golfer field.
UMO returns to action March 3 in the Armstrong Atlantic State University Pirate Invitational.
