JV sports
* Boys' basketball: J.H. Rose 53, C.B. Aycock 38 -- Cameron Kornegay and Damien Darden each scored 12 points for the Golden Falcons.
* Girls' basketball: J.H. Rose 27, C.B. Aycock 23 -- Destiny Washington led the Golden Falcons with six points. Sean-Keya Faison had five points.
Middle schools
* Boys' basketball: Wayne Christian 49, Cape Fear Christian 27 -- Austin Kornegay led Wayne Christian with 28 points and 26 points as the Eagles advanced to the Carolina Christian 1-A Conference tournament championship game.
* Boys' basketball: Eastern Wayne 57, Mount Olive 38 -- Darrian Oates and Coby White each had 14 points for the Warriors. Isaiah Hatchett contributed eight points and Marcus Rouse had six. The Warriors improved to 13-1 overall this season.
* Boys' basketball: Rosewood 42, Spring Creek 27 -- Chance Howard led the Eagles with 14 points, while teammate Kolby Harris chipped in 11 points.
