WCDS boys upend Oakwood

GREENVILLE -- Wayne Country Day turned back Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference foe Oakwood 58-40 on Tuesday night.
Lee Atkinson led the Chargers with 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Shahim Muhammed added 14 points and Victor Miller had 11. Joel Davis and Jamal Forde each scored nine points. Davis grabbed nine rebounds and Forde had four steals.
Wayne Country Day (21-9 overall, 6-3 CPIC) plays host to Greenfield on Friday.
