Howell leads Wayne Christian in road loss

ERWIN -- Wayne Christian outscored Cape Fear Christian by six points in the second half, but CFC seized a 66-42 win on the Carolina Christian 1-A Conference scene Tuesday evening.
Austin Howell led the Eagles with 10 points. Teammate Micah O'Hara contributed eight points.
Wayne Christian (1-15 overall, 1-10 CCC) concludes regular-season play at home today against the Goldsboro Heat. Tip-off is 7 p.m. at Clifford Gymnatorium.
