James Kenan's Marcelias Sutton and Princeton's Johnny Frasier earned second-team honors on the 2013 Carolina Gridiron All-State football team.
Sutton, who has committed to N.C. State, helped the Tigers beat West Montgomery 42-14 in the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 1-AA (large-school) state championship in mid-December. The speedy running back rambled for 186 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries in a driving rain storm.
Kenan claimed its first state crown since 2007 and third overall in program history.
Frasier, who received a verbal offer from Georgia on Friday, rushed for 3,000-plus yards and 45 TDs this past season. The junior running back assaulted the Princeton High record books and also set a state record for points in a game (50) against North Duplin.
The Bulldogs finished 9-4 and lost a second-round playoff game to James Kenan.
