WCDS boys upend Australian travel team

Wayne Country Day used a balanced attack to defeat a traveling team from Australia 69-47 on Wednesday night.
Joel Davis led the Chargers with 10 points and six rebounds. Lee Atkinson provided nine points, four assists and four steals. Marlon Coley contributed nine points.
Shahim Muhammed finished with eight points. Jamal Forde pulled down six rebounds.
Wayne Country Day (15-6 overall) opens its Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference slate at Freedom Christian tonight.
