North Duplin girls end 10-game slide

NEWTON GROVE -- North Duplin snapped a 10-game skid with a 42-23 triumph over Carolina 1-A Conference foe Hobbton on Wednesday evening.

Shaily McCarty led the Rebels with 13 points. Deja Aycock added 11 points and Rylee Pate finished with eight points.

North Duplin (1-10 overall, 1-4 CC) is the guest of Princeton on Friday.
